There are a lot of places, revered by believers. Among them are the monasteries of Kyiv, as St. Michael, Florovsky, Vydubitsky and Jonah.

Built in 1108-1113 Michael's Cathedral has particular importance for Kyiv because he was dedicated to the archangel Michael - patron saint of Kyiv. Supposedly, the first temple with a gilded top was St. Michael's, hence its name - Michael's.

Holy Ascension Monastery Florovsky - a convent at the hem in Kyiv, founded in the early 16th century. Florovsky Monastery ensemble evolved over two centuries, then you can see the buildings belonging to different eras and different styles. The oldest building of the monastery is preserved Church of the Ascension, built in 1732.

Vudubitsky - one of the oldest in Kyiv (XI century), was founded by Yaroslavich Vsevolod, son of Yaroslav the Wise. Is a family monastery of son Vsevolod, Volodymyr Monomakh and his descendants, was the center of social life in Kyiv. The monastery is a necropolis, in which are buried many prominent figures of science, the arts and public figures, mostly of the 19th century.

Holy Trinity Jonah Monastery - Orthodox monastery in Kyiv. Founded in the 60th of the 19th century. Archimandrite Jonah Vydubitsky Monastery. In 1935 the monastery was on the territory of the newly founded Botanical Garden.

During the tour you will visit the major temples of the monastery and to hear the details of their origin and development.
