The district is located in the eastern part of Holosievski forest, declared an archaeological reserve. It is located between Bagrinova Mountain, Korchuvate and Mushelovka.
During this walking tour we learn the origin of the unusual name of the neighborhood, enjoy the scenery of incredible beauty, and see the remains of defensive walls of the fortress of Kyivan Rus. Also visit the Holy Trinity functioning monastery «Kytaevo desert», the first mention of the caves which belong to the XI century. In ancient times there was a cave here and maze - it is also available for inspection. In Kytaevo monastery lived a unique hermit - monk Dosifej which was actually ... a woman! There are the picturesque ponds, the oldest chestnut in Kyiv. And that's not all!
