Sights

The central sight of Khreshchatyi Park is a sculptural composition with arch «Friendship of Peoples», which appeared in 1982 in preparation for the celebration of the 1500th anniversary of Kyiv, replacing summer stage.

There you can see the «unity of form and content». There are the most valuable ancient and modern books designed by the best masters using expensive decorative materials on display in the museum.

This is the only monument of architecture, history and painting of the 18th century in Ukraine, created in style of imperial baroque according to the project of Italian architect Rastrelli.

«Mamayeva Sloboda» is the culture- ethnographic center with 98 constructions, reproducing Ukrainian village of Cossacks era, on its territory.
